Siliguri B.Ed. college library is small in size, but maintains a high standard with the software Koha including circulation process. The total number of books in the library is near about 10212. It, however, includes varieties of excellent books. The library contains text books on ‘Education’ as well as on other subjects, reference books (Dictionaries, Encyclopedias on different subjects, Atlas etc.) and general books. The library subscribes to varieties of Journals on Education (mainly), Science and Arts subjects. The collection also includes back volumes of Journals, Magazines, Career guidance books and News bulletins about employment. Apart from the borrowing facility, the library has reading room facilities also. The students are totally dependent upon the library for their requirement related to B.Ed. course. The collection is continuously reviewed and added with new books to support their needs. Internet is also accessible to the students in the library. A good number of e-journals of SAGE publications as well as a large number of variety of e-resources (e-journals, e-books, databases, etc) through the N-LIST for colleges (UGC-INFLIBNET) consortium are accessible from the library.

Some salient features of the Library: Siliguri B.Ed. College Library is fully computerised. Internet facility is available in the Library. Access to INFLIBNET for downloading e-boooks and jouurnal papers, both within campus and outside Open access to books available in the Library. Starting with 8 to 10 book almirahs Siliguri B.Ed. College Library has been developed itself as a very rich and standard library now, to meet the academic and other requirements of its users. It has above than 10,000 books including Text books and reference books. The library has subscription to number of good educational journals also. It has subscription to N-LIST consortium to get thousands of e-books and e-journals. The library has been fully automated with the software KOHA. It has the facility of internet through wifi inside and surrounding the library. Users have facilities of lending books, reading journals or reference books, access to internet and e-resources. Users can search through the catalogue either in computer or in their mobile. The library follows open access system.

Reprographic facilities: Students are allowed to make photocopy of maximum 50 copy per day @ 50 paise of rare books, syllabus and question papers.

Seminar Library: The Psychology Lab maintains a seminar library with books on Psychology and Psychological test materials.

Institutional Membership: Siliguri B.Ed. College is now an institutional member of the NList. Students and teachers can use the library as institutional member. The website address of NList is www.nlist.co.in.
